Job Description Summary

The individual will be teaching a broad range of lecture and laboratory classes in electrical engineering and will play a key role on faculty and staff teams that support Clarkson Ignite, a university-wide innovation initiative. The individual will participate in lecture and laboratory teaching and mentoring both individual students and large student project teams. Individual is expected to develop a vigorous, creative, internationally recognized and externally funded lidar focused research program. They are expected to pursue their own research projects and collaborate with other researchers on multi-disciplinary research projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates are required to have a PhD in Electrical Engineering and have strengths encompassing the areas of underwater lidar, sensor systems, applied electromagnetics, and signal processing. Experience relevant to managing Clarkson s underwater lidar test facility is highly desired.
