We are searching for a talented Engineer Helper to be based out of 11 Metrotech .
Shift will be Monday through Friday 4 PM to 12 AM. The first two to four weeks will be M-F 8AM to 4PM for training.
The Engineer Helper will provide engineering services at a large multi-use professional and residential complex. Maintain a professional image and demonstrates positive behaviors in keeping the objective of the company s welfare while performing job functions. Must be able to take direction from supervisor and able to maintain positive relationships with all management and non-management associates
A high school diploma or high school equivalency is required.
Must attend L94 union school for 3 years until completion while position is held
In addition to the education outlined above, at least 2 year s experience using hand/power tools

Repairs and maintains buildings, grounds, fixtures, machinery and mechanical equipment, in building common areas and tenant areas. May perform general and advanced maintenance duties
Respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, directing customers to other persons as necessary
Assists in the development of the preventative and scheduled maintenance programs. Completes preventative and scheduled maintenance work orders. Updates equipment and building information for preventative and maintenance program
Assist in setup of materials for promotions and special events
Respond to after-hours emergency calls and may be required to report back to the property after hours if needed
Performs plumbing duties including inspecting, installing, repairing and replacing pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures
Performs electrical duties include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing lighting, wiring and power circuits
Performs carpentry duties including construction and repair of walls and partitions, drywall installation and repair, shelving and counter installation, repair of doors and associated door hardware (locksets and closers), etc
Performs painting duties including drywall and plaster repair, painting, filling holes and cracks, wallpaper repair, installation and replacement, etc
Performs other miscellaneous duties such as locksmith duties and ceiling tile and grid repair
