Plan, coordinate, and prepare construction cost estimates primarily for water and wastewater treatment or other hard bid construction projects. Plan and coordinate conceptual estimates in a design build environment.

Job Qualifications for Successful Estimator
5-10 years experience estimating water and wastewater plants for the following self-performed trades:Process piping welded and flangedProcess equipment installation
5-10 years experience in Heavy Industrial for the following self-performed trades:Process piping welded and flangedEquipment installationRigging
5-10 years experience in self performed cast in place concrete for water, wastewater plants and heavy industrial. Ability to estimate the architectural disciplines is a plus.
5-10 years experience in self performed in site work, structural excavation and yard piping.
Bachelor s degree in Construction, Engineering, or Estimating, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
Proficiency with Excel
Experience with HCSS and/or Timberline Estimating Systems.
Experience with Primavera Scheduling.
Miscellaneous Metal and Structural Steel Experience.
Must have all trades take-off experience.
Project $ Value experience should be in the $2M $30M range
Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing required.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced team environment and committed to working as a team is critical.
